Laithwaites England Cricket Sponsorship Activation

We partnered with CSM to create a suite of content around a player’s appearance at Trent Bridge cricket ground. Through detailed planning and focused execution, we secured four distinct strands of content, delivering extended value to the brand.

Professional athletes thrive on competition. With this in mind one format we created challenged players to catch a ball dropped 400ft by a drone, to win wine for a grassroots club of their choice. This generated authentic enthusiasm and highly watchable moments on camera, and had the added benefit that the talent left the shoot with positive brand association.

Further content from the day included a wine tasting to showcase Laithwaites wines, a play-at-home wine and cricket quiz, and jovial Christmas short form socials that showed off the players' personalities.
