Our latest ad tie-in video for Waitrose is now live. Home for Christmas, this year’s Waitrose Christmas campaign celebrates the spirit of connection. The television advert features the heroic journey of a migrating robin, as he flies from Sweden to an English garden to be rewarded with a Waitrose 1 mince pie and reunited with his fellow robin friend.
Award- winning children’s author Michael Morpurgo has written a book, Coming Home, inspired by the ad, which brings the robin’s story to life. We were commissioned to produce a short film of Michael reading the book to be released alongside the ad campaign.
The book is available to buy in all Waitrose shops. For every book produced, a donation of 50p is made to Crisis, the national charity for homeless people, helping to tackle loneliness, isolation and bringing people together at Christmas.
The video will be promoted during the festive period online across Waitrose’s social platforms, as well as through in store promotions.
