Bramble Bank cricket match
We had an absolutely glorious time on Sunday morning watching the sun rise from the middle of The Solent at the annual Bramble Bank cricket match.
The match has been played for over 70 years off the coast of Isle of Wight on the notorious underwater sandbank which is revealed once a year for about an hour at low tide.
This year hosts, Royal Southern Yatch Club, had a ringer in the mix courtesy of Hardys Wines as England’s Stuart Broad joined their team for the match against Island Sailing Club. Hardys commissioned us to capture all the action as it happened. They also provided the umpire this year, in the amusing guise of cricket mad comedian Miles Jupp.
